What You'll Do
In the words of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, “life is a festival of disruption.” So when David Lynch brings that sentiment to life with his first-ever Festival of Disruption in Los Angeles on October 8-9, you and a friend will be there as his special guests! To kick things off, you’ll meet David at the pre-party and even chew that gum you like (it’s coming back in style, you know?). From there, you’ll have VIP access to two full days of music, art, films, talks and more by Robert Plant, St. Vincent, Mel Brooks, Debbie Harry and more! And if you’re eagerly awaiting the Twin Peaks reboot, we’ve got just the thing to tide you over: a private meet and greet with Kyle MacLachlan over a damn good cup of coffee. Flights and hotel included.
No donation or payment is necessary to enter or win this sweepstakes.
Who You'll Help
The David Lynch Foundation helps to prevent and eradicate the all-pervasive epidemic of trauma and toxic stress among at-risk populations through promoting widespread implementation of the evidence-based Transcendental Meditation (TM) program in order to improve their health, cognitive capabilities and performance in life. Since opening its doors in 2005, the David Lynch Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization, has helped to bring the stress-reducing Transcendental Meditation technique to more than 500,000 children and adults around the world. We focus our efforts on underserved inner-city students; veterans with PTSD and their families; and women and children who are survivors of violence and abuse. For every $400 raised, we can provide a 10-hour individualized Transcendental Meditation course of instruction for at-risk children and teens in underserved schools.
