All donations made in connection with a fundraising campaign are paid to Charities Aid Foundation of America (“CAFA”), an IRS-recognized, U.S. public charity whose mission is to make giving internationally and domestically safe, easy and effective for U.S. donors. CAFA prequalifies each Charity as an eligible recipient of CAFA grants. At the end of each fundraising campaign, so long as the Charity continues to qualify as an eligible recipient of CAFA grants, CAFA will make a grant to the Charity of the net proceeds of the fundraising campaign.

Prize Provider:
Buena Vista Television ("Prize Provider")

Details: One (1) Winner and a Guest will be awarded a 3-day/2-night trip to Los Angeles to attend a table read for the show and meet members of the cast of black-ish. Winner will also take a private tour of The Walt Disney Studios in Burbank, CA, receive a $500 gift card and five (5) pairs of custom black-ish shoes designed by The Shoe Surgeon.

Prize Restrictions: 

Trip to Los Angeles must be taken by March 1, 2019 or else prize will be forfeited in its entirety. Travel dates to be mutually agreed upon by winner and Prize Provider subject to the black-ish production schedule and the cast’s availability; however, Prize Provider shall have final approval over the travel dates in its sole discretion. Once travel is booked, travel dates cannot be changed unless by Prize Provider in its sole discretion. The attendance by any specific cast member or any other talent from black-ish is not guaranteed and shall be subject to availability and Sponsor’s and/or Prize Provider’s sole discretion.

If Winner is unable to travel once the travel dates are booked, the prize will be forfeited in its entirety.  In the event Winner is able to travel on the scheduled travel dates, but the cast meeting and/or table read does not or cannot take place as scheduled or at all, for reasons including but not limited to postponement, location changes, an event of force majeure, or for any other reason, then Sponsor reserves the right to award the remainder of the prize with no further obligation to the Winner. 

Cast meeting and table read are subject to cast members’ availability and professional commitments. Winner and his/her Guest will meet members of the cast in one session at a time and location to be determined by Prize Provider in its sole discretion, with Prize Provider’s representative(s) and other individuals also being present at all times. Winner and Guest must follow all instructions of Prize Provider relative to the trip and meeting cast and, should Winner and/or Guest fail to adhere to such instructions or engage in unruly, obnoxious, anti-social or otherwise inappropriate behavior (as determined by Prize Provider in its sole discretion), Prize Provider reserves the right, without further notice or warning, to terminate the trip and/or remove Winner and/or Guest from the set and/or take other actions as Sponsor deems appropriate in its sole discretion so as to protect its rights, without liability or other obligation to Winner and/or Guest.

Trip consists of: round-trip coach air transportation for the winner and a guest to Los Angeles from an airport near Winner’s residence (as selected by Sponsor/Prize Provider in their sole discretion); two nights hotel accommodations (one room, double occupancy) in a hotel in the Los Angeles area as selected by Sponsor/Prize Provider; round-trip ground transportation between the Los Angeles area airport and hotel; and round-trip ground transportation between the Los Angeles hotel and the set of black-ish.  If Winner lives within 150 miles of the Los Angeles area (as determined by Sponsor/Prize Provider in their sole discretion) he/she will receive, in lieu of air transportation, round-trip ground transportation between winner’s residence and hotel. Winner will not receive cash or any other form of compensation if actual travel costs are less than the prize approximate retail value below. 

Prize elements awarded as gift card are subject to terms and conditions thereon.

SHOES: Winner must select a shoe size between a Men’s Size 6 – 13 for custom sneakers. Winner will receive five (5) pairs of custom black-ish shoes designed by The Shoe Surgeon within approximately twelve (12) weeks of winner verification and shoe size selection. Exact designs of sneakers to be determined by Sponsor/Prize Provider in their sole discretion.

All applicable federal, state and/or local taxes are the sole responsibility of the Winner.  The Winner is solely responsible for all other expenses not specified herein, including but not limited to meals/beverages, tips, taxes and hotel incidentals. Winner and Guest must travel together on specified itinerary, including same departure date, destination and return date or prize may be forfeited in its entirety. Accommodation restrictions and blackout dates may apply. All travel dates and arrangements are subject to change, availability and Prize Provider’s approval. Sponsor/Prize Provider are not liable for any expenses incurred as a consequence of flight cancellation/delay. Certain documentation and requirements may be necessary for travel, such as photo identification.  Winner and Guest are solely responsible for any documentation and requirements and determining applicable procedures and restrictions.  In addition, Winner may be required to present a valid credit card at the hotel at the time of check-in. Winner and Guest must provide own transportation to and from departure airport.

There is no retail value associated with the Studio tour, cast meeting and table read portions of the prize.

Who's Eligible:
You must be a legal resident of the 50 United States, Washington D.C. or Canada (excluding Quebec) and be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in the jurisdiction of their residence, whichever is older) to enter or win. Guest must be of legal age of majority in his/her jurisdiction of residence (and at least 18), unless Winner is the parent or legal guardian of Guest and Guest is at least 5 years of age or older at the time of travel. In addition to Winner requirements (detailed below), Guest must complete and return a publicity and liability release prior to departure. If Winner is the parent or legal guardian of Guest, Winner must execute and return all required documents on behalf of such child or legal ward.

If a potential Winner is a Canadian resident, he/she will be required to correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question without mechanical or assistance of any kind, within a predetermined time limit, as a pre-condition to be declared a winner and claim the prize.  Failure to correctly answer the mathematical skill-testing question will result in disqualification and prize forfeiture.

If Winner and/or Guest reside outside the country where experience will take place, Winner and/or Guest must have current, valid passports, and be able to travel to the experience location(s). If they are unable to travel to the experience location(s), they will forfeit the prize. Entry is subject to all local laws. See our Sweepstakes Official Rules for more details. Employees, officers, and directors of Sponsor, Charity, or Prize Provider, and members of their immediate families and households, are not eligible to win.

Individuals may not receive more than one major/grand prize and one minor prize within the same 18 month period.

Selection Process:
Conditional Winner will be chosen through a random selection process by Omaze or its representative. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received before October 26, 2018 at 11:59pm PT. A verification process will take place during which conditional Winner will be required to sign paperwork re-confirming their eligibility and their ability to participate on given dates. Omaze may also perform background checks, at its discretion, before an official Winner is announced.
