We'll announce the winner in 5-8 business days right here, as well as on our blog and through email. Thanks to everyone who donated – you're all winners to us.
Brace yourself, because you’re about to get your ass kicked in the coolest way possible… working out with Charlize Theron. You and a friend will join the fast and furios(a), Oscar-winning actress for an action-packed day you’ll never forget. You’ll hang with Charlize, snap some pics, then join her and a trainer for the ultimate workout session. What does a workout with the world’s top action star look like? You’ll learn how to land punches, knock out bad guys and—by the end of the day—be ready to save the world. Flights and hotel included.
(RED): Every day 400 babies are born with HIV, but they don’t have to be. The life-saving pills that keep an HIV+ pregnant woman alive and healthy also prevents the virus from passing to her unborn baby. These pills cost as little as 30 cents a day in sub-Saharan Africa—that’s two lives saved for just 30 cents. When you donate to win a (RED) experience on Omaze, you’re supporting (SHOPATHON) RED—the annual holiday campaign to raise awareness and money to help HIV+ moms get access to lifesaving medication, bringing us closer to a world where no baby is born with HIV. Let’s end AIDS.
Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project: Founded by the Academy Award winning actor and UN Messenger of Peace, the Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project’s (CTAOP) mission is to invest in African youth to keep themselves safe from HIV/AIDS. Primarily focusing on Charlize’s home country of South Africa, which has the largest HIV positive population in the world, the Project supports community engaged organizations that use innovative and community specific programming to work with youth between the ages of 10-20 years old. These organizations provide critical resources like access to youth friendly health care, sexual and reproductive health education, life skills, and psychosocial support—all of which empower young people to keep themselves and their peers HIV free.
