In Haitian Creole, KANPE means "to stand up." Your donation will help The KANPE Foundation get closer to achieving its mission of bringing support to some of Haiti's most vulnerable families and helping them achieve financial autonomy. The KANPE Foundation works to find the best local Haitian organizations and talents who can help communities in need attain their goals in health, education, agriculture, entrepreneurship, leadership and local infrastructure strengthening. They give the poorest communities a voice so that they can express their own needs, priorities and goals. Whether they’re building medical clinics or funding small businesses, The KANPE Foundation ensures that funds are properly distributed and that projects are carried out with respect for the goals of the community and according to strict norms of good governance and transparency.
