About the cause
Slow Food USA is part of the global Slow Food organization founded to prevent the disappearance of local food cultures and traditions, counteract the rise of fast life, and combat people’s dwindling interest in the food they eat, where it comes from and how our food choices affect the world around us. They’ve grown to more than 150 local chapters with 6,000 members in the US working to ensure everyone has access to good, clean and fair food. Slow Food USA connects the pleasures of the table with a commitment to the communities, cultures, knowledge and environment that make this pleasure possible.
