About the cause
Kode With Klossy empowers girls to learn to code and become leaders in tech. Founded in 2015 after Karlie Kloss took a coding class herself, Kode With Klossy hosts free, two-week coding summer camps for girls ages 13–18 and fosters a national community furthering opportunities for women and girls in tech. Kode With Klossy and Ford Steam Experience are both committed to empowering girls to pursue their passions in STEAM. That’s why Ford was so excited to partner with Kode With Klossy, helping the program expand in 2017 from three camps to 15 camps across the nation. This expansion enabled hundreds more girls to learn how to code, and since then Kode With Klossy has expanded further to 50 camps in 2018—strengthening skillsets, boosting confidence and empowering each girl to create her own future.
