Golden Triangle Asian Elephant Foundation

Located in the far north of Thailand, the Golden Triangle Asian Elephant Foundation (GTAEF) cares for and nurtures these majestic animals and improves the livelihoods of their keepers (mahouts). The foundation rescues elephants from abusive situations and partners with hotels to help provide safe, ethical work for elephants that are able, while providing a safe, healthy environment for those that are not.
