About the cause
The Avalanche Canada Foundation raises funds for Avalanche Canada, Canada’s national public avalanche safety organization. The money raised by the foundation helps Avalanche Canada provide winter backcountry users across the country with a full slate of programs that support good decision making while traveling in avalanche terrain. These programs include daily public avalanche forecasts, avalanche safety courses and a variety of outreach programs that target the diverse demographic of users who enjoy Canada’s spectacular snowy backcountry.
