The Celebrity

Kevin Kelly

Before Facebook, Google and Explorer, there were a handful of brilliant pioneers who worked to create and cultivate their vision of an interconnected world. They advanced the Internet and fostered the development of tools that today drive our lives. Most of the things you do today were quite literally influenced by this gang, and smack in the middle it was Kevin Kelly, whose endless observations were shared in the Whole Earth Catalog, Wired Magazine and What Technology Wants amongst others. Along the way he's also helped produce Hacker's Conference, the WELL, and the Long Now Foundation. Rarely are we given the chance to recognize genius while its still producing great work. This is one of those opportunities.
