Who you're benefiting
Young Storytellers Foundation believes arts education is a right, not a privilege. They go into Los Angeles public schools that lack the resources for an arts curriculum and provide writing mentorship for the students. Professional writers teach nine-week courses where the students write their own original plays which are then performed by professional actors in front of a live audience of friends and family.
The Celebrity
The Cast of How I Met Your Mother
6 Emmys...no big deal. Eighth season...sure. 10 million fans, nay, awesome fans! You betcha. It's pretty clear that How I Met Your Mother is out-of-this-world AMAZING. But it's the little things over the years that really make this show, its cast, creator and writers something to truly love. Take the season they worked around not one but two pregnant stars (Alyson Hannigan and Cobie Smulders) while celebrating their character's growing bellies with wink-wink jokes the fans could enjoy. Or the fact that Jason Segel gave Alyson Hannigan flowers at the table read for the episode where Alyson's character Lily learned she was pregnant. There's also Barney Stinson (NPH!), who has taught us all the value of a suit. And finally Ted Mosby (aka Josh Radnor), the man who we've rallied around on his journey to one day meeting his future wife. If ever there was a cast that has all of the elements for an extraordinary sitcom, and dream experience, this is it.What would you say?
