Who you're benefiting

Architecture for Humanity

MTV and Architecture for Humanity are teaming up to rebuild the boardwalk of Seaside Heights, which was was the hardest hit area of any coastal areas during Hurricane Sandy. The 18-block boardwalk, which is the economic lifeline of the area has been completely devastated.

So we have to step up and be the difference that rebuilds this area. With your help we can raise enough money to restore the boardwalk and save this area that is the home to 3,000 people and attracts 65,000 visitors every year.

The Celebrity

Russell Simmons

Russell Simmons

We want to be just like Russell Simmons when we grow up. He’s not just a savvy businessman with superior fashion sense, he’s a man who built an empire out of good intentions. In his 29-year career he branded hip-hop and gave a voice to an underground society of poets, actively embraced cultural movements that changed our country, and established a multi-faceted communications empire - all while finding time to hit the yoga mat. But don’t just take our word for it. In 2007 USA Today named Rush one of the “Top 25 Most Influential People of the Past 25 Years.” Just this year the Producers Guild of America named him winner of the 2013 Visionary Award for his tireless endeavors that offer “viewers and music fans alike not just a reflection of themselves, but a hopeful glimpse of a world filled with art, joy and compassion." His name has been associated with charity, inspiration, and ultimate success but now he’s ready to join forces with you in the boardroom and on the yoga mat. Can you say “Namaste”?
